Job Summary
Heart & Lung Transplant Fellow role focused on leading day-to-day management of heart and lung transplant inpatients (pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, ICU rounds, discharge planning), coordinating multidisciplinary teams (transplant cardiology, pulmonology, ECMO/VAD services, infectious diseases, pharmacy, PT/OT, social work, care management), participating in organ offers and conferences, engaging in quality and safety initiatives, and teaching junior cardiothoracic fellows and residents through bedside teaching, case-based education, and structured didactics; rotation-based fellowship at UPMC in Brentwood, PA with full-time schedule and opportunities for professional growth.
