Heart Transplant Coordinator

Coordinate and manage patient care for heart transplant recipients and LVAD patients throughout the post-surgical phase and the continuum. Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the LVAD and heart transplant programs. Ensure compliance with regulatory and transplant program guidelines while coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team. Provide patient education and support high-risk populations. Requires a registered nurse license in Georgia, ACLS, and BCLS, plus two years of clinical experience with a cardiovascular focus. Based at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
