Job Summary
Assist the kitchen brigade by maintaining a high level of cleanliness at all times and manage the pot and plate wash areas. Ensure a professional appearance in a clean uniform while standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. Lift up to 25 lbs as part of daily duties. Prior to employment, complete safety training and certification. This role is within the seven-story atrium of the 4-star London Marriott Hotel Kensington, where guests value seasonal menus and unique presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a good command of English
- An excellent verbal manner
- At least some experience of stewarding/Kitchen Porter duties
- Good organization skills with an attention to detail
- A team Player with flexible & positive attitude
- Hardworking and consistent
- The ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs
- Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods
- Ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform
