Job Summary
Optimize outpatient GDMT for complex heart failure patients and coordinate advanced surgical therapies including LVAD implantation and heart transplantation within a multidisciplinary heart team. Manage the full spectrum of disease complexity across two premier Northwell campuses, delivering advanced care from Staten Island University Hospital to North Shore University Hospital. Lead program-building initiatives in transplant and LVAD management while engaging in research and exclusive clinical trials to redefine heart care.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship-trained Heart Failure Cardiologist
- Board-certified/board-eligible cardiologist
- Advanced heart failure and transplant training
- Demonstrated expertise in GDMT optimization and complex hemodynamics
- Experience coordinating advanced therapies (LVAD/transplant) within a multidisciplinary heart team
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, education, and program-building
