Job Summary
Provide pre- and post-operative care for heart transplant and VAD patients in collaboration with regional academic cardiac surgical centers. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers, specialists in cardiac electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, and cardiothoracic surgery. Gain expertise working with cardiomyopathies including hypertrophic and infiltrative disorders. Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows while contributing to a growing, well-established program committed to innovative, patient-centered care for heart failure patients.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or related degree
- board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease
- Clinically oriented
- sufficient research experience
- teaching abilities
- Eligible for academic appointment
- medical licensure in the state of New York
