Job Summary
Provide pre- and post-operative care for heart transplant and VAD patients in collaboration with regional academic cardiac surgical centers. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers, specialists in cardiac electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, and cardiothoracic surgery. Support and contribute to a growing, well-established program offering expertise in cardiomyopathies including hypertrophic and infiltrative disorders. Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows while advancing the field of cardiology through research and teaching.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or related degree
- board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease
- Clinically oriented
- sufficient research experience
- teaching abilities
- Eligible for academic appointment
- medical licensure in the state of New York
