Job Summary
Provide pre- and post-operative care for heart transplant and VAD patients in collaboration with regional academic cardiac surgical centers. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, and cardiothoracic surgeons to manage cardiomyopathies. Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows while contributing to an innovative, patient-centered advanced heart failure program. Eligible for an academic appointment with a competitive salary range of $350,000-$400,000 plus incentive bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or related degree
- board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease
- Clinically oriented
- sufficient research experience
- teaching abilities
- Eligible for academic appointment
- medical licensure in the state of New York
