Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner sought to join Hackensack Meridian Health’s Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension team at Hackensack University Medical Center. Lead inpatient care with a caseload of 5-10 inpatients daily, conduct new patient evaluations, and manage ongoing outpatient care. Utilize advanced clinical skills to interpret complex data, including hemodynamic monitoring from right heart catheterizations and Swan-Ganz catheters, to guide treatments for pulmonary hypertension. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage advanced medical therapies (IV inotropes and prostacyclins) and ensure seamless discharge planning. Provide comprehensive coverage across inpatient and outpatient services, contributing to high-quality patient care. Requires NJ NP licensure (or eligibility), Acute Care NP certification, and MSN with APN credentials. Compensation noted with base salary around $156,250/year, plus comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- MSN with Advanced Practice Nurse credentials
