Job Summary
Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension Nurse Practitioner position at Hackensack University Medical Center. Lead inpatient care with 5-10 daily inpatients, drive outpatient evaluations and ongoing care, and utilize advanced clinical skills including hemodynamic data from right heart catheterizations and Swan-Ganz catheters to guide treatments. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage advanced medical therapies (IV inotropes, prostacyclins) and ensure seamless discharge planning, providing coverage for both inpatient and outpatient services. Requires NJ NP license (or eligibility), Acute Care NP certification, and ACLS/BLS; MSN with APRN credentials. Competitive base salary around $156,250 with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- MSN with Advanced Practice Nurse credentials
