Job Summary
Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension Nurse Practitioner at Hackensack Meridian Health. Lead inpatient care with a caseload of 5-10 inpatients daily, drive outpatient evaluations and ongoing care in the clinic, and interpret complex clinical data including hemodynamic monitoring from right heart catheterizations and Swan-Ganz catheters to guide advanced therapies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage therapies such as IV inotropes and prostacyclins and ensure seamless discharge planning. Provide comprehensive coverage for both inpatient and outpatient services. Requires NJ NP license (or eligibility), Acute Care NP certification, ACLS, and BLS; MSN with Advanced Practice Nurse credentials. Offer includes a base salary around $156,249.60+ with a comprehensive benefits package and pay transparency disclosures. Location: Hackensack, New Jersey (in-person role).
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
- MSN with Advanced Practice Nurse credentials
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
