Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner for Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension to lead inpatient care (5-10 inpatients daily), conduct new patient evaluations in the outpatient clinic, and interpret complex hemodynamic data from right heart catheterizations/Swan-Ganz catheters to guide advanced treatments. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage therapies including IV inotropes and prostacyclins and ensure seamless discharge planning; provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient coverage. Requires NJ NP licensure or eligibility, Acute Care NP certification, ACLS/BLS, MSN/APN credentials, and related nursing education.
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
- AHA Basic Life Support(HCP) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
- MSN with Advanced Practice Nurse credentials
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
