Job Summary
Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension Nurse Practitioner needed to lead inpatient care, conduct new patient evaluations, manage ongoing outpatient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement advanced therapies (IV inotropes, prostacyclins) and ensure seamless discharge planning. Responsibilities include managing 5-10 inpatients daily, interpreting complex clinical data including hemodynamic monitoring from right heart catheters and Swan-Ganz catheters, and providing comprehensive coverage across inpatient and outpatient services. Requires New Jersey NP license (or eligibility), Acute Care NP certification, BLS/HCP, ACLS, MSN with APN credentials, and a competitive base salary with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- MSN with Advanced Practice Nurse credentials
