Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner for Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension teams at Hackensack University Medical Center. Lead inpatient care with a 5-10 patient inpatient caseload, conduct new patient evaluations and manage ongoing outpatient care, interpret hemodynamic data from right heart catheterizations and Swan-Ganz catheters to guide advanced treatments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to administer therapies including IV inotropes and prostacyclins, and ensure seamless discharge planning while providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient coverage. Requires NJ NP license (or eligibility), ACNP certification, ACLS, and BLS; MSN with APN credentials. Location: Hackensack, NJ. Compensation includes base salary around $156,250 with full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) HCP Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- MSN with Advanced Practice Nurse credentials
