Job Summary
Healthroom Nurse (Part-time, 0.5 FTE) assigned to Bradford Heights Elementary in the Downingtown Area School District. Delivers healthcare services to students and staff under the supervision of the Certified School Nurse, including administering prescribed care, first aid, and medication following district procedures; maintains health records; supports health room operations and screening programs; provides counseling on health and hygiene; collaborates with district health staff and families. Requires LPN or RN and current state license, CPR/First Aid certification, strong communication, clerical skills, and adherence to district/state requirements.
Required Qualifications
- LPN or RN current state license
- Accurate record keeping skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good clerical skills including basic office computer skills
- Attains and maintains CPR/First Aid certification
- Working knowledge of health care service and/or experience beneficial
- Must adhere to background and criminal record checks requirements
