Job Summary
Healthcare-focused VP Controller role in Dallas-Fort Worth for 8020 Consulting. Lead accounting and finance initiatives for healthcare clients with Big 4 background, 10+ years of senior leadership, and expertise in GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include overseeing multi-entity financial operations, month-end close optimization, ERP implementations and finance transformations, and advising executive leadership on technical accounting matters, operational improvements, and scalability. Requires degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred), substantial healthcare industry experience, and prior controller-level leadership. Hybrid remote option in Dallas, TX with full-time employment and strong emphasis on collaboration, client advisory, and measurable impact.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA designation (preferred)
- Big 4 public accounting experience required
- Significant healthcare industry accounting and finance experience required
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
- Prior experience as a Controller, VP Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar senior accounting leadership role
- Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations
- Experience supporting private equity-backed organizations, healthcare providers, healthcare services, or related healthcare businesses
- Demonstrated success leading teams, managing complex projects, and partnering with executive leadership
- Experience with ERP implementations, finance transformations, and process improvement initiatives
