HEALTHCARE TECH; PRN

Healthcare Technician (PRN) provides population-specific patient care, assists with data collection for objective assessment, and coordinates with the health care team to transport patients to imaging, surgery, and other tests. Reports to the Patient Care Coordinator. Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory standards of care, direct personal patient care, organizing and prioritizing care with a multidisciplinary team, transporting patients and equipment, assisting with patient positioning and dress, and supporting as a Nurse Assistant and Constant Observer as needed. Required competencies emphasize teamwork, communication, quality of care, and adherence to standards of practice. Working conditions include direct patient contact with potential exposure to infections and occasional irregular hours in a hospital setting.
