Job Summary
Cardiovascular Tech RCIS assists with invasive cardiovascular procedures under the direction of supervisor and physician. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, acting as scrub tech and circulator, monitoring patient status, transporting patients, maintaining sterile technique, assisting with teaching and orientation, inventory control, preparation of the lab, and post-procedure safety. Requires Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare experience; AHA ACLS; RCIS within six months (or ARRT and TX RT(R) in lieu); RCIS or ARRT certifications; cath/interventional radiology experience preferred. Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is a full-service acute care hospital located in Midlothian, TX, with a cardiovascular catheterization lab and robotic surgery capabilities. Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certification within six months of date of hire
- ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
- Cath or Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred
- Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred)
