Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS supports invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab under supervision, assisting with monitoring, imaging, and procedural support. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, acting as scrub tech and circulator as directed, assisting with patient transport and preparation, interpreting basic and advanced waveforms, managing supplies and inventory, and ensuring sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certified within six months of date of hire
- ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
- Cath or Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred
- Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred)
