Job Summary
Bank Healthcare Support Worker/Ophthalmology Technician on the ward at Wessex Hospital. Part-time, ad-hoc hours. Responsibilities include delivering patient care, performing ophthalmic diagnostics, assisting with intravitreal injections and oculoplastic minor operations, and supporting a team of RNs and consultants. Requires NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care with relevant ophthalmic experience and familiarity with ophthalmic diagnostic machines. Positive attributes include good telephone manner, computer and database skills, and ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions.
