Job Summary
Ensure projects progress according to plan and owner specifications by supervising daily activities of workers, contractors, and subcontractors. Maintain weekly communication with the Project Manager regarding change orders, schedules, and back charges while addressing problematic subcontractors early. Create and adhere to a well-planned 3-week schedule, manage cost expenditures, and champion job-site safety through pre-task meetings and documentation. Produce accurate daily reports, RFIs, and project photography while managing storm water prevention plans and close-out duties like punch-lists and as-built documents.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of related experience or training with a general contractor, renovation/tenant improvement (ground-up helpful), or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School Diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project)
- Experience with Procore
- Experience with office equipment
- Experience with Internet Explorer or other similar Internet tools
Desired Qualifications
- Renovation/tenant improvement (ground-up helpful) experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
