Job Summary
Provides clinical services to patients, such as immunizations or MTM interventions, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, company policies and procedures. Delivers patient experience by greeting and assisting customers, resolves issues, and shares best practices to foster a distinctive Walgreens service experience. Supports efforts to increase awareness of healthcare services offered through Walgreens, including patient consultation, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services, reinforcing a shift from transactional to interpersonal pharmacy care. Maintains current licensure/credentialing as required by federal and state regulations and pursues ongoing education to enhance performance.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
