Job Summary
Outside healthcare sales representative responsible for generating patient leads and membership among seniors by nurturing direct-to-seniors and business-to-business partnerships, including community events, information tables and health fairs. Develops relationships with health plan agents, senior housing managers, and senior centers to position ChenMed/JenCare as a top provider, coordinates events, collaborates with brokers and vendors, maintains CRM data (Salesforce), and delivers presentations to educate potential patients about the ChenMed value proposition. Travel up to 75% locally/regionally/nationwide; role includes field activity, events, and ongoing customer engagement to drive new member growth and retention. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are required, with a focus on persuasiveness, customer focus, and organizational excellence. Pay range is $38,509–$55,013 with potential bonuses or commissions; requires High School Diploma or GED, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; minimum 2 years of sales experience with senior-focused market knowledge is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred OR additional combination of formal education, training and experience above the minimum will be considered in lieu of the education on a year-for-year basis
- A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience is required
- Working with seniors a plus, Medicare Advantage knowledge a plus
- Relevant sales experience with establishing and maintaining relationships with business/vendor partners
- Possession and maintenance of a current, valid Driver’s License
