Job Summary
Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources including hospital systems, physicians, and sleep labs to drive business growth for durable medical equipment and respiratory services. Develop new business opportunities, participate in negotiations, and manage product categories such as ventilators and cough assist devices while ensuring billing compliance. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and service offerings to support territory strategy, and maintain accurate records of sales and marketing activities using Salesforce.com. Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and coordinating solutions, then represent the company professionally at industry events and manufacturer meetings. Maintain technical knowledge through continuing education and contribute to compliance and performance improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five (5) years of experience in the DME, home health, or healthcare industry
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- DME sales and marketing experience
- RCP or RRT credential
- Established professional relationships within the healthcare community and referral network
- Strong knowledge of respiratory services, durable medical equipment, and third-party payer policies
- Excellent public speaking, presentation, and provider engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of healthcare organizations
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and territory management skills with the ability to work independently and drive results
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com and standard business software including email, internet, and word processing applications
- Proficiency with Brightree, Apacheta, CRM platforms, and standard business software including email, internet, and word processing applications
