Job Summary
Lead the planning and on-site execution of commercial building projects from initiation through completion by providing project leadership, communication, coordination, and conflict resolution. Manage the design process and relationships between design and construction to ensure quality, budget-conscious, and complete documents are delivered on schedule. Oversee the implementation of strategies to pursue additional business with existing clients and new opportunities while reading and interpreting construction plans and technical specifications. Act as the Owner's Agent to ensure project goals are met within the Santa Clara market.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ Years experience in a Project Management role managing commercial building sector projects ranging in cost of $5 Million to $50 Million
- Managing projects from initiation through completion of construction
- 2+ years working with a preconstruction team to plan projects for success
- 2+ Years of experience managing the design process and relationships between design and construction to ensure the designer delivers quality, budget conscious, and complete documents on schedule
- 5+ Years of experience reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings
- Demonstrated ability to develop and oversee the implementation of strategies and action plans to target and pursue additional business with existing clients and new business opportunities
- Bachelor's Degree – Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years of industry experience
