Job Summary
Collaborate with divisional operations leaders, clinical teams, and administrative leaders to identify procurement, sourcing, and cost-reduction opportunities that support organizational goals. Analyze purchasing data, spending trends, and supplier utilization to develop recommendations for leadership review and decision-making. Lead vendor negotiations related to pricing, contract terms, and service levels while balancing quality, cost, and operational needs. Support supplier selection, contract management, and vendor performance reviews to ensure organizational objectives are achieved. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding pricing, contracts, and vendor relationships while traveling to company locations and vendor meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading vendor negotiations and managing supplier relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Professional procurement or supply chain certification (CPSM, CPM, CPPB, or equivalent)
- Five or more years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, healthcare operations, finance, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
- Professional procurement or supply chain certification (CPSM, CPM, CPPB, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience identifying cost-saving opportunities, conducting spend analysis, and supporting sourcing initiatives preferred
- Healthcare and/or multi-site organizational experience preferred
- Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Effective presentation, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
