Healthcare Practical Nurse

Assess resident conditions on admission and ongoing basis, accurately documenting all findings and communicating significant changes to the interdisciplinary team. Implement nursing interventions including medication administration and treatments per physician orders, while using SBARR for timely physician notifications. Monitor residents closely to identify behavioral changes or untoward symptoms, answering call lights and assisting with activities of daily living as needed. Participate in care planning processes, updating plans based on specific interventions and utilizing the QAPI process to resolve problem areas. Maintain composure during crisis situations such as family dissatisfaction or staff disputes. Complete at least twelve hours of nursing-related continuing education and adhere to Bethesda policies.
