Job Summary
Senior Healthcare .NET Developer for HNAS at Highmark Health. Takes a lead role in analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing more complex application enhancements and providing production support within Highmark IT standards. Collaborates with customers, business analysts, partners, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, drives innovative approaches to complex business needs, and may mentor less experienced team members. Responsibilities include participating in the full SDLC, release implementations, on-call support, and delivering high-quality, defect-free solutions with minimal supervision. Requires strong problem solving, leadership, and experience in the healthcare or health insurance domain, with expertise in .NET, SQL, and related technologies, plus adherence to HIPAA and data security practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related field
- 5 years of experience as a developer
- Experience with databases
- Experience with multiple coding languages
- Experience with Project Management tools
- Experience in Healthcare or Health Insurance Industry
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred .NET Developer
- SQL Experience
