Job Summary
Deliver assigned courses in accordance with approved syllabi and objectives. Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assessments, and learning activities. Evaluate and document student performance fairly, providing timely feedback. Maintain accurate attendance, grade, and advising records. Hold scheduled office hours to offer academic support and advice. Participate in faculty in-service training and curriculum review activities. Support institutional and accreditation data collection efforts. Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree minimum in Health Care Management, Health Administration, Business, or a related field from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or CHEA
- Master's degree preferred
- Academic credentials appropriate to, and at least equivalent to, the level of the courses taught and the credential for the program of awards
- Professional certification or licensure appropriate to the subject matter taught is preferred where applicable
- Minimum of three (3) years of related professional or occupational experience in health care management or a related field
- Prior postsecondary teaching experience preferred
- Effective communication, classroom management, and instructional technology skills
