Job Summary
Maintain a master licensing and renewal calendar covering all state DME/HME licenses, pharmacy permits, business registrations, and sales tax filings. Prepare, submit, and track renewal applications across 30+ states, ensuring on-time filing with complete supporting documentation. Manage Medicare enrollment (PECOS/CMS-855S) and Medicaid enrollments, including revalidations, updates, and new-state applications. Process company change events and correspond directly with state licensing boards, CMS/MACs, and the National Supplier Clearinghouse to resolve deficiencies. Support ACHC accreditation compliance and monitor regulatory changes to flag new requirements. Track and pay renewal fees and annual reports, then report license status and open issues to leadership on a regular cadence.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare licensing, credentialing, payer enrollment, or regulatory compliance
- Working knowledge of Medicare supplier enrollment (PECOS, CMS-855S, supplier standards) and state Medicaid enrollment processes
- Experience managing multi-state license portfolios and renewal calendars
- Exceptional organization and follow-through; you close loops and confirm completion rather than assuming it
- Strong written communication for professional correspondence with state agencies
- Able to read regulatory language and extract concrete requirements and deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- DME/HME, pharmacy, home health, or similar experience
- Comfortable with spreadsheets, shared trackers, and document management systems
- experience with CRM or credentialing software
- Familiarity with ACHC or other DMEPOS accreditation standards
- Experience with state sales tax registration and compliance
- Prior work at a mail-order or multi-state DMEPOS supplier
- Notary commission
