Job Summary
Install, integrate, and troubleshoot medical equipment, healthcare technology systems, and facility infrastructure across hospitals nationwide. Perform healthcare renovations including light demolition, framing, drywall repairs, and equipment mounting while pulling, routing, and terminating low-voltage cabling. Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations, then coordinate daily with project managers and clients to maintain schedules. Maintain accurate documentation, verify inventory, and adhere to OSHA and infection control protocols while operating various hand and power tools. Travel extensively for overnight and weekend assignments up to 100% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, field service, mechanical installation, low-voltage, AV integration, facilities maintenance, healthcare equipment, or a related trade
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and installation equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, or installation diagrams
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and mobile applications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel up to 100% nationwide
- Ability to lift, move, and install heavy equipment while working from ladders, lifts, ceilings, and confined spaces as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school or trade school education
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Experience working in hospitals or healthcare facilities
- Experience with Salesforce, QuickBase, or other field documentation platforms
- Experience with fiber optic terminations, AV integration, or low-voltage testing equipment
