Job Summary
Install, integrate, and support medical equipment, healthcare technology systems, and facility infrastructure across hospitals nationwide. Perform renovations including demolition, framing, drywall, and equipment mounting while pulling, routing, and terminating low-voltage cabling. Read blueprints and installation drawings to ensure accurate work, then coordinate daily with project managers and clients to meet schedule and quality expectations. Maintain accurate documentation using company software and adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control procedures. Travel extensively, including overnight and weekend assignments, to customer sites while operating various hand and power tools.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, field service, mechanical installation, low-voltage, AV integration, facilities maintenance, healthcare equipment, or a related trade
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and installation equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, or installation diagrams
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and mobile applications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel up to 100% nationwide
- Ability to lift, move, and install heavy equipment while working from ladders, lifts, ceilings, and confined spaces as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school or trade school education
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Experience working in hospitals or healthcare facilities
- Experience with Salesforce, QuickBase, or other field documentation platforms
- Experience with fiber optic terminations, AV integration, or low-voltage testing equipment
