Job Summary
Identify stories and opportunities for Tennr to produce helpful material for healthcare audiences. Research topics and interview sources to distill relevant information for feature writing, news, data storytelling, and market analysis. Deliver content across various formats while maintaining journalistic curiosity and complete ownership over story substance and delivery. Occasionally support broader content needs by running webinars and preparing speakers for conferences. Join the team in Hudson Square four days a week, moving fast to reduce patient delays and slash referral denials.
Required Qualifications
- A writer who's obsessed with craft and clarity
- An experienced journalist with at least 3 years' experience at a newspaper, industry publication, or other media company
- A curious person who needs to know the whole story and who isn't afraid to do truly deep research
- A college graduate, or someone with enough additional comparable journalism experience to replace the degree
- Someone who thinks it's rude to expect audiences to read AI-generated work
- Join us in-person four days a week at our spacious office in Hudson Square (with the fifth day remote-optional)
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally, someone whose prior reporting experience (or other work experience) has focused on some aspect of healthcare, especially through the lens of business
