Job Summary
Healthcare Facility Manager role overseeing facility engineering and maintenance for a hospital in Red Lake, MN. Responsibilities include reviewing and updating hospital engineering and maintenance policies and procedures; planning and directing the facilities and quarters maintenance department; providing oversight and leadership to maintenance staff; preparing new contracts and developing Statements of Work; managing CMMS (Nuvolo) system, inventory, and regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA); overseeing construction/renovation projects; developing and implementing training plans for maintenance staff; coordinating with hospital leadership and COR; ensuring safety and on-call emergency responses; and contributing to vendor and government contract processes. Requires on-site work, a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 5 years of hospital facility management experience, and ability to manage certifications and training programs; relocation support is offered for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years in the role of hospital facility manager
- American Society of Healthcare Engineers Certified Hospital Facility Manager certification is preferred but not required
