Healthcare Executive (Senior Leadership Role)

Job Summary
Provide executive leadership across clinical, operational, and administrative domains while defining delivery strategies aligned with organizational goals. Oversee healthcare operations to improve patient flow, reduce hospital-acquired conditions, and ensure adherence to evidence-based standards. Lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor senior healthcare leaders, and develop succession planning strategies to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Partner with finance leadership to oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and cost optimization initiatives without compromising care quality. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and policies while leading root cause analysis for clinical incidents. Serve as a key member of executive leadership teams, collaborate with CEO, COO, CFO, and CNO, and participate in board-level discussions. Drive healthcare transformation initiatives including digital health and AI adoption to modernize clinical systems and operational workflows. Lead response efforts during healthcare emergencies and ensure business continuity across facilities. Maintain on-call availability for system emergencies and occasional travel to facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience
- 5+ years in senior leadership roles (Director, VP, or Executive-level healthcare leadership)
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory standards
- Proven experience managing large teams or multi-site healthcare operations
- Strong executive communication and leadership skills
- Experience in healthcare quality, compliance, and operational improvement
- Must currently reside in one of the approved locations listed above
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree (MHA, MBA, MSN, or related)
- Experience in hospital systems, integrated health networks, or large healthcare organizations
- Strong background in clinical operations, nursing leadership, or healthcare finance
- Experience with value-based care and population health management
- Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.)
- Experience leading digital transformation in healthcare environments
- Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certification
- Experience working with boards, regulators, and external healthcare agencies
- Background in healthcare strategy or consulting roles
