Job Summary
Healthcare Director responsible for leading health and wellness activities for the community’s resident population and managing day-to-day healthcare operations. Oversees a team of nurses, medication technicians, and nursing assistants, ensures compliance with local/state/federal regulations, develops resident-specific service plans, conducts evaluations and revisions, collaborates with physicians/pharmacists/healthcare team to coordinate care, manages the medication program and audits, oversees training and competency validation for staff, ensures documentation and survey readiness, acts as infection preventionist, reviews quality indicators, and supports budget and external business development in collaboration with leadership. Requires RN or LPN license, 1-2 years experience (3+ preferred), supervisory experience, CPR, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Harmony Senior Services. Required Qualifications
- Current valid and unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in accordance with State regulations and requirements
- Has completed any State-required training courses related to practicing nursing in assisted living (for example Delegating Nurse course, State-specific medication training courses etc.)
- Must be able to think critically and apply knowledge and principles of the nursing process to promote safe, quality care.
- 1-2 years’ experience required; 3 or more years’ experience preferred.
- Supervisory/management experience is strongly preferred.
- Current CPR certification is required.
