Job Summary
Contact Altocare offices, clients, family members, payors, or providers to verify and obtain information needed to complete client records. Gather, compile, and validate operational and outcomes data from internal systems and external sources, identifying missing or inconsistent data related to client outcomes. Review information across internal systems to ensure data is accurately captured and aligned between platforms. Analyze collected data to identify discrepancies, trends, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present summaries, reports, and presentations outlining findings and key insights for internal leadership and stakeholders. Utilize Microsoft Office applications to organize, analyze, and report on data while maintaining strict confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA requirements. Prioritize and manage multiple assignments while consistently meeting deadlines, proactively flagging questions or potential issues to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of, or willingness to be trained on, HIPAA requirements and confidentiality obligations related to handling PHI
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or currently in progress
- Well suited for individuals beginning their careers in healthcare administration, data analytics, business operations, or related fields
- Comfort using AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) for non-PHI tasks, with a clear understanding of data privacy boundaries
