Job Summary
Temporary 90-day assignment as Patient Engagement Advocate (Healthcare Customer Service Representative) supporting geographically distributed physical therapy clinics. Responsibilities include listening to patient needs, converting inquiries to booked appointments, providing empathetic, local-feel assistance across multi-channel channels (phone, email, chat), guiding patients on providers and clinics, explaining insurance and financing options, accurately capturing data, and meeting KPIs such as handle time, conversion rates, and patient satisfaction. Collaboration with marketing, operations, and clinic staff to drive improvements, with potential for permanent placement based on performance. Requires high school diploma or GED (college degree preferable), 40-hour workweek, and availability Mon-Fri 7am-7pm EST; remote-work readiness and a dedicated home workspace are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED or equivalent; College degree is preferable
- Minimum 2-3 years customer support experience and at least 1 year inbound contact center experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years in a sales-oriented role, with a preference for candidates with experience in a call center or telesales environment
- Minimum Internet speeds of 10 Mbps upload and 150 Mbps download; Latency <50 ms; and Packet Loss <2%
- Must have a dedicated, quiet workspace at home (with a door) to work without distractions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with patients
