Job Summary
Healthcare Contracting Specialist handles end-to-end contract lifecycle management for HCP/HCO contracts, including intake, drafting using standard templates, redlines, e-signature, amendments, and records in the system of record; creates and processes contracts, determines whether contracting party is HCP or employer (HCO); routes contracts for signature and maintains audit-ready documentation; reviews redline requests with Legal to ensure alignment with standards and submits amendments for execution; travel up to 20% as needed; requires 1–5 years of relevant experience and familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems, plus strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum years experience 1–5 years in contract management, legal operations, or HCP/HCO engagement within healthcare, life sciences, or consulting
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks related to HCP/HCO contracting (e.g., Sunshine Act, Anti-Kickback Statute)
- Experience with standard contract templates, redlining processes, and amendment management
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems or similar tools (e.g., Icertis, Conga, Veeva, SAP Ariba, Salesforce, DocuSign)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Self-directed, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work in a fast paced environment
