Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for doctors, nurses, and clinical staff regarding facility or space-related issues, prioritizing requests based on clinical impact and patient care needs. Perform routine and corrective maintenance tasks, including light construction, installation, or repair work such as fixtures, furnishings, and wall systems. Coordinate with outside vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments while tracking work orders and maintaining detailed documentation for compliance and audits. Adhere to healthcare-specific safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and patient privacy standards while ensuring a clean, hazard-free work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable balancing physical, hands-on work with administrative and coordination tasks
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and varied daily assignments
- Basic mechanical, building systems, or maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with clinical and facilities teams
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Must be able to carry heavy objects, such as framing lumber, sheets of plywood, and other building materials
