Job Summary
Healthcare Compliance Consultant leading and providing compliance program operations and regulatory guidance for healthcare clients in an Alexandria, VA office (hybrid). Responsibilities include overseeing compliance program operations, policy development, regulatory adherence, risk assessments, and incident management; delivering advisory services to clients to enhance regulatory compliance; conducting research on federal/state healthcare regulations (Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Stark Law, HIPAA, CMS); leading investigations, implementing corrective actions, and reporting to authorities; collaborating to design and implement client-specific compliance programs aligned with HHS OIG standards and state regulations; maintaining up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices; requiring professional certifications and willingness to travel up to 75%.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or Juris Doctor
- active healthcare compliance certification such as CHC
- 5 to 7 years of healthcare compliance consulting experience or equivalent
- up to 75% travel to meet client needs
- experience with HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Stark Law, and CMS regulations
