Job Summary
Conduct personalized career coaching for students and graduates, covering resume development, interview preparation, and networking strategies. Facilitate workshops, drop-ins, and job fairs to develop professional competencies and connect learners with workforce opportunities. Build and nurture partnerships with local healthcare organizations to secure externship-to-hire pathways and direct-hire placements. Collaborate with faculty to maximize clinical-to-hire conversions while maintaining meticulous records for accreditation and reporting. Monitor caseloads and performance indicators to drive graduate employment outcomes and address placement gaps. Represent the college professionally at campus events and community outreach initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of combined professional experience in career services, staffing, recruiting, workforce development, employer relations, account management, admissions, community outreach, or other roles with comparable responsibilities and performance expectations
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a role requiring direct coaching, advising, placement, business development, recruitment, or relationship management
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport, influence outcomes, and communicate effectively with students, graduates, employers, faculty, and campus leadership
- Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally for employer visits, community outreach, and campus-related events
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent combination of education, directly relevant experience, and demonstrated performance will be considered
- Experience in postsecondary education, healthcare, or a performance-based service environment
- Knowledge of healthcare career pathways, healthcare employers, or allied health and nursing employment trends
- Experience with CRM, student information, reporting, or case management systems such as CampusVue, CampusNexus, or PowerBI
