Job Summary
Healthcare Call Center Representative is the primary point of contact for Kinwell’s patients, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, updating EMR records, collecting co-pays, and supporting care coordination in on-site clinic locations (Seattle Ballard, Redmond, Wenatchee, Spokane area). The role requires providing clear, compassionate communications, achieving inbound call goals, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s degree and additional call center experience; EPIC experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of medical terminology are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience in a call center, medical office setting, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of healthcare customer service best practices, HIPAA regulations, and medical terminology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, active listening, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in using healthcare-related software
