Job Summary
Healthcare Automation Technician at Jabil – Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing systems, with a focus on 6-axis robotics integrated into injection molding and ancillary equipment, while developing capability under SME guidance. Responsibilities include assisting in setup, operation, and basic programming of 6-axis robots; supporting integration with injection molding machines and vision systems; assisting FAT/SAT activities and commissioning; first-line troubleshooting; supporting IQ/OQ/PQ validation execution under supervision; assisting EOAT setup and changeovers; supporting OEE, cycle time, and scrap reduction; following safety and automation standards; and contributing to preventive maintenance and documentation. Training and development provided cover 6-axis robot programming, injection molding fundamentals, PLC basics, machine safety, validation awareness, and vision systems introduction.
Required Qualifications
- Technical qualification (apprenticeship/diploma)
- 0–3 years experience (automation/manufacturing preferred)
- Exposure to robotics or molding advantageous
- Basic robot operation and adjustment (Cartesian and/or 6 axis)
- Basic automation system understanding
- Structured troubleshooting ability
- Awareness of IQ/OQ/PQ validation
- Safety compliance understanding
