Job Summary
Support the nursing team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents in a nursing home in Co Limerick, Ireland. Build positive relationships by providing companionship, assisting with mobility and personal hygiene, and promoting social activities. Communicate resident concerns to staff, maintain contact with families, and ensure the home remains clean, safe, and compliant with Health and Safety standards. Perform any additional duties as required by the Nurse in Charge. This role offers guaranteed hours, premium Sunday and bank holiday pay, and comprehensive training opportunities for those with a Level 5 Healthcare qualification.
Required Qualifications
- Currently completing or holding a FETAC/QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification (or equivalent) in the relevant modules.
- Demonstrates strong communication and active listening skills.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to high standards.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Maintains a positive and proactive attitude.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
