Job Summary
Deliver personalized care and support to individuals living with dementia in a North Dublin nursing home. Perform delegated care tasks including washing, toileting, dressing, dining, and social engagement while maintaining resident privacy and encouraging independence. Follow individual care plans, report physical or mental changes and incidents immediately, and communicate respectfully with residents and families. Ensure a safe environment for all while supporting activities and events. Fluent English and Garda clearance required. Free meals, pension, and training available.
Required Qualifications
- EU/EEA citizenship or an existing, unrestricted right to work in Ireland
- 1+ years of experience in elder care
- Ability to successfully pass Garda Clearance
- Must provide suitable character references
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Desired Qualifications
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (completed or in progress)
- A relevant Nursing/Allied Health degree
