Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining residents' dignity and independence. Assist with mobility, daily living activities, personal care needs, feeding, hydration, and maintaining overall comfort. Provide emotional support, companionship, and reassurance while observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions. Support participation in social and recreational activities and build positive relationships with families and the multidisciplinary team. Apply infection prevention, cleanliness standards, and health and safety practices while working independently and collaboratively in a busy care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Healthcare qualification completed or currently in progress (QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent)
- Relevant healthcare experience
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred resident care
- Compassionate and caring approach with a genuine interest in supporting older adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Stamp 4 or Stamp 1G permissions
- Satisfactory references
- Medical clearance
- Garda Vetting

- Previous experience in a healthcare, nursing home, or residential care setting
