HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT, OPERATION THEATRE

Provide basic nursing care in the operation theatre, assist the anesthetist and surgeon, and maintain sterility and cleanliness of the theatre. Perform daily routine tasks including cleaning operating tables and lamps, inspecting supplies and gas cylinders, transporting patients to and within the theatre, assisting in all activities in the operation theatre, and supporting central sterile supply with instrument preparation and inventory management. Record daily charges for used items, assist with patient comfort and safety, and participate in routine rounds and communications with patients and families. Must be willing to work scheduled hours, shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency calls; fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
