Job Summary
Conduct health checks with patients before and after dialysis, maintain clean equipment following proper training, and prepare supplies and packs for treatment. Escort patients to clinical and waiting areas while serving refreshments during treatments under the supervision of a registered nurse. This full-time, 37.5-hour role runs Monday to Saturday with no night shifts or Sunday work. Competitive salary up to Β£25,086 includes overtime pay after 150 hours every four weeks. The position offers comprehensive training via on-the-job methods and our in-house 'd Academy' program within Diaverum's Ipswich Dialysis Unit.
Required Qualifications
- GCSE level or equivalent education
- NVQ level 2 in Health; Social Care or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care
- Excellent communication skills (oral + written)
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work clinically in a renal setting
- Must be able to work Monday to Saturday shifts
- Must be able to work full time, 37.5 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospital and healthcare setting
- Working towards NVQ level 3
