Job Summary
Senior Healthcare Architect responsible for developing and presenting design concepts for healthcare projects, leading design teams and collaborating with clients and project managers to produce construction documents and models. Duties include preparing presentation materials, conducting code and jurisdictional research, coordinating with design leaders and other disciplines, performing cost estimates, administering construction contracts, overseeing on-site inspections, guiding junior staff, and advancing external and internal client relationships. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Bluebeam, with strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to deliver compliant, high-quality healthcare facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited architecture degree or equivalent experience
- 10 years’ experience in architecture with a minimum of 5 years’ experience on healthcare projects
- Experience as the lead architect on multiple healthcare projects
- Licenses: Current architect license/registration
- Proficient in Revit, Auto CAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Outlook
- Strong design skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to learn and adapt
- High level of collaboration and communication with other team members
- Knowledge of building codes and construction practices
