Job Summary
Healthcare Accounting/Financial Reporting Manager responsible for leading the organization’s board-level and external financial reporting, driving month-end close, and delivering clear financial narratives to senior leadership in a hybrid Plano, TX environment. Responsibilities include preparing monthly/quarterly/annual reporting packages with MD&A, developing board presentations and KPI dashboards, managing debt covenants and lender reporting, coordinating with auditors for consolidated schedules, providing ad-hoc financial modeling, identifying control/process improvements, and presenting results to leadership with forward-looking insights. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred), 5+ years in financial reporting/technical accounting (healthcare or multi-entity experience valued), and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Sage Intacct (or similar ERP), and data visualization of large data sets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- CPA license strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and analysis
- Healthcare services or multi-entity experience valued
- Experience with board-level materials, audits, consolidated reporting
- Advanced Excel (modeling, pivot tables, Power Query) and PowerPoint
- Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP for GL and consolidation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Ability to synthesize data into executive-ready insights
